Star Eels halfback Mitchell Moses will be "touch and go" for next week's clash with Manly but is more likely to return a week later against the Wests Tigers.

Parramatta coach Brad Arthur said the team's position at the top of the ladder meant there was no need to rush back the star playmaker until he's fully fit.

“He'll probably be right next week but we might hold him off until for the Tigers game. We just want to make sure he's 100%. He's touch and go for next week," Arthur said.

"The boys have done well to put us in this position so we can, not rest people but look after them. There's no need to rush blokes out there if they're not 100%. We've got to look at the bigger picture for the end of the year."

  • oh look ,a football blog.

  • We will know tomorrow against the Novacastrians, if he needs to play against Manly. I would think playing Newcastle is much more of a test without Moses then playing the Cowboys. Newcastle will have done their homework on Field this week and he won't get it as easy. Look for them to really rush him when it's kicking time.  Hope he plays well, and the boys around him step up again.

A win tomorrow for us will allow BA to rest Moses next week as well, dare I say the opposite to occur then The pressure to play Moses next week may be too great.
