Can we Minimise Storm Tactics

We all are aware of Storm wrestling tactics in the tackle ( they have been training to the point of expertise. In particular Grant and Loiero are absolute pests in the tussle.
Here is the issue that Moses should be absolutely making the referee aware of - Loiero is a chronic offender of pushing in our play the ball( slowing down any potential dart from dummy half) but worse still, when he has the ball he steps forward of the mark, putting our markers on the back foot or not square and this often ties in with Harry Grants scoop and dart.
I have lost count of how many these 2 and others in this team exploit the play the ball. Sorry for boring you but I needed to get it off my chest. Cheers

  • Yep, and those plays are illegal. Moses should rightly complain to the refs about that. In fact the club should be contacting the NRL about this prior to the game - it certainly wouldn't hurt raising this, and it might even put more focus on it. Ryles should even mention something in the media too.

I'm sick of all the crap that goes on in our game and the NRL just ignores.

  • Good pick up OP.

The way to solve this is first contact and line speed hunt as a pack like we did last week and it has to be continuous. We can't take Grant out of the game but errors and cheap field position will hurt us.

Just need to see another performance like last week.

  • Or we could do it as well. Why don't we?

  • Should be ...can we minimise the impact of the unconcious bias towards Storm by the ref/bum in the bunker?

  • If we score more try's we should be good
