I've got German debt collectors at my door daily. Money had to go there to keep their dogs at bay.
Your prize Sluggy is a laurel around your crown, a firm handshake and a subtle nod of the head in recognition. You can't best that. Money comes, money goes. It's not so much for the destination you reached but the journey you had.
I would suggest that is how much each clubs Leagues Club contributes to their bottom line. So the Broncos get nothing from their League Club, they don't need to, and in fact legally can't. Whereas the Panthers, Dogs, Eels, Raiders, Sharks & Roosters all get hefty payouts from their respective Leagues Clubs.
Basically the Panthers ran at a $8.1m loss and Panthers LC had to cover that.
It's also saying that on average each club is losing $1.5m annually.
If I remember correctly Bernie had said he had a plan or a goal to make Parra profitable within 5 years. I think with the return to Bankwest, our coffers are fuller in recent times.
I'm curious to see how much we've unteeted from the our leagues club after this year.

I'd be dissappointed if it took 5 years to break even, that would suggest we haven't monetised the possibilities around BankWest sufficiently. Those figures BTW would have been for 2018, none of the clubs would be even close to releasing their 2019 financial results yet, so our 2019 results should definitely be better given that we played 9 games @ BankWest, although that will be counterbalanced somewhat by increased investment in the football department.
I'm anticipating a loss of about $2.5m this year I would say.
I think our 2018 financial results were better than 2017 and that we'd cut our losses.
We have a big enough fanbase to be a club in the black. Seriously now. Only the Broncos and Bunnies have a bigger fanbase. Not bad for a club which has failed both on and off the football field for 30+ years now.
"I believe the recruitment issues and inability to land the biggest fish is from a combination of where we are in the recruitment pecking order I said above and the fact we've committed to not spending overs . Unless we spend overs we won't get…"

And I thought you had decided not to pass on my agreed share of the cash Slugg .

The prize was $500, but Zimbabwean dollars. That's $2AUS.
Please order 2 wooden spoons for Slugg !!!
Stop the dribble you two. With a full season next year you wont stand a chance.
Lol As long as Parra win their share I am happy if shock results in other games go both your ways .
