Now, whilst some on here don't like it when I compare rugby league to soccer, this blog is to show how much we as supporters need to pump up the stadium. Tonight the Western Sydney Wanderers hammered Adelaide 6-1. In attendance was the entire Eels first grade team cheering for the new kids on the block. According to many supporters in attendance as well as players such as Reni Maitua and Jarryd Hayne, the atmosphere was electric.
Reni said it was the best live experience he's ever had. Now, even though the Eels supporters have had to live through a really tough period recently and maintained support I think we should have as many people as possible to not only go to the games but also make as much noise as possible. Make the stadium shake and let the boys know how much we support them.
Bring on 2013.

Here we go again.......
What is with the F__ing drums. You don't find them in the EPL. Been lucky enough to go to a few games at the Riverside Stadium(Middlesbrough my team of choice), and I have never experienced anything like it. No need for drums there. Chanting and clapping. When the team ran out everyone stood and sang and clapped in unison. It was amazing.
As for Parra players wanting an electric atmosphere, put in a bit of effort and passion and in turn they will receive what they so desire. Until then, they don't deserve it.
In saying that I think this year will be very different to the dribble dealt up previously.
Homosphere
i didnt say they hadnt, im just over super comparing RL to soccer in ever blog, they are two different games with two dif lots of supporters, theres nothing to compare, super compared them in basically every thread this year.
its not sad about the two types of supporters at all, RLs a very different game, i wouldnt want a crowd like that at the soccer, nor would i mix with those types either.
Eels82, dont tell her she has no idea, this is a rugby league site champ, fuck the soccer and fuck the people that go to it, go get on the wanderers forum with the other diving softcocks and try hards, the others for men.
There two different games, its kebabs and meat pies, theres no comparison.
