Brian Smith Out choked the chokers

People seemed to be carrying on a bit to far with the "chokers" tag for the St George Illawarra Dragons, some people may have orgotten they were versing the biggest choker in NRL history.

He is been is seven or eight grand finals, and has swee F-ALL to show for it. Brian Smith has never known how to handle grand final week and i think he got a bit to far ahead of himself after the beat the Gold Coast with his saying "One more" whilst walking around with his index finger up for a bout an hour.

Full Credit to the Dragons and Wayne Bennett for shaking off this tag of being the NRL's official chokers!

  • And Jack u know who will be touted as the biggest chokers of all Time now? Us!!!!
  • i don't think so
  • Well who then? We choked in 98, 99, 01, and 05...I won't mention the other preliminary finals cause we weren't favs to win the games.. But now that the dragons have shaked the tag I can't see anyone but us being chokers.. We need to shake the tag next year!!
    • all of which was under brian smith, if you read the blog i was saying brian smith is the choker, not roosters or eels
  • brian smith can certainly turn a team around, lokk what he did for us, newy and the chooks! just that final hurdle that gets hinm. he certainly deserves a gf win!
  • Always was, and always will be the bridesmaid of the competition!
  • Mr Fix-It still isn't Mr Win-It yet eh?
  • I'm not counting last year monster... I love parra like we all do, but facts are facts and until we can grab that elusive gf then we will be tagged as chokers for what we have done in the past!!!
  • im just pointing out that he is a consistent finals choker
  • he can turn teams around, he just can never take it up another gear at the last hurdle
