Both Tuivaiti and Tuilagi out, who replaces them?

What was our strongest part of our team is now getting slimmer. With Tuilagi and Tuivaiti out, who do we see coming in for the week?

More likely we see Williams stay in the middle and Guymer moves to an edge. Then the two bench spots for Tuivaiti and Guymer would more likely be taken up by de Belin and Brown. Not sure if someone like Jezaiah Funa-Iuta will be ready either.

So Russell for Nanva is one change. De Belin will get Tuivaiti's spot more likely. So who replaces Tuilagi?

    • This forward pack.
Experience is required more than ever right now, especially against a boosted Bulldogs pack after their last win.

  • I think they may challenge the Tuilagi grading based on JR press conference. NSW cup today had a total of 2 games of nrl experience in it lol. Mataele 1 game and Loizou is game from years ago. Felt sorry for Lorenzo. Nothing came off for him today. He tried but nothing came off. JR said in his press conference said he is not going to risk youngsters long term development so I reckon they will persist with Volkman

    • Volkman was not bad at all today, has a good step and kicking game in him, his defence was okay I thought he was better than Pezet

      • Not a hard thing to do.

    • Volkman wasn't great but he tried. That's all you can ask for from him. Heard him say that though I'm wondering when is the right time to play some kids? The likes of Lorenzo and Petrus could be proper NRL players next year.

      • I would wait for the team to improve before throwing Renzo to the wolves. I agree with JR

        • Yeah I understand Ryles' sentiments but as I said with only Iongi returning really when are we going to improve enough to throw him in?

Though EA, I will say, many were yelling out "Put Lorenzo in" there in lines a big issue you mentioned. Lorenzo was gonna do jack s*** if he played today. Now the fans have expectations further and now he is the messiah when he comes in.

So yeah Ryles is right as it's not the media or the game itself, more so the fans.

          • Yea that's why I don't want to rush Lorenzo in. What is he actually going to do if the rest of the team is playing like this. All it will do is expose his weakness and hurt his confidence. In saying that he is not actually learning much playing with poop players in cup

            • If they throw Lorenzo into this shitfight I may just walk away from this club.

We would be eating our seedcorn in the worst way

            • 100% the hype around him has gotten out of control. Even Moses is looking poor playing behind this pack. I would hold him back until we have no chance of playing finals because the fanbase will turn on him as soon as he has a poor game. Build the pack then throw him in. Volkman was good today.
