Mate, you were trying to make an argument around if we paid 650 from the get go, the club made an error. The thing is you'll never know. How are you supposed to.make an argument on a figure you'll never find out.

Your last part is spot on, that spine can be anything and i am not convinced they do go with Papali'i. They might but i still think signing a 5/8 is very much still on the cards. I know you said signing Da Silva means Papali'i is going to be 5/8, though we have the money to sign a quality 5/8 also. But even if it is someone like Pezet who will not break the bank.
We should have oodles of coin. Like enough to sign 2 genuine rep level stars. Our team, as it stands for next season would have to be 2 million under the cap going by players immediate salaries ( not front loading salaries )
