  • Deal will average out around 650k per season over the 4 years, hopefully towards the back end of that deal TDS will be one of the better 9s in the comp but time will tell

    • Average out at $650k per year?, that's a massive overpay. He better be the next Harry Grant at that price.

      • Yep definitely a big investment but with the salary cap increasing it might pay off. TDS has been earmarked for great things but he has to reach that potential.

        • Absolute Bullshit, no way anyone would pay that sort of money for an unproved Rookie, the managers doing their job again in leeking it to the fcukwit jourmalist who leak it to the fcukwit Social media.

More like 350/400 and KPI's that will take it to that number if there met.

        • I am not sold on this kid.

If we are payingTDS $650 a season on 'potential', then based on what we have already seen of Iongi, we're going to need to fork out $1m plus to extend his current contract

          • I wonder if it is backended, like $350k 2026, $450k 2027 etc.

            • Yes, based on KPI's.

If Rylie Smith was not suspended for our next game he would be on the bench, as it is he TDS is a starter.

What happens the second week when Rylie returns.....who starts on the bench and what does it look like with Walker at 14 and one of the hookers on the bench.

    • Realy, that's way overs for a 20 year old who is yet to prove himself in FG. I have watched a lot of TDS and he has alot to learn. He can throw a dumb pass and struggles in defence.

He tends to knock up quickly then comes the wayward passes.

  • A mate of mine who's a massive Tigers fan has said we're letting them have Matterson immediately as part of this Da Silva deal. Anyone else heard that? Not that there'll be too many tears on this site over it...
