I hope Monto is watching, he couldn't understand why everyone was saying that Penrith are the team to beat.
The formlines in this are fascinating to me. There is so much to learn about both sides. Canberra bustled them early and forced/ flustered them into uncharacteristic errors. They way Penrith then regathered themselves and really showed their class was very impressive.
At the end of the half Canberra were gone, Wighton was the only player worrying them.
I will be equally fascinated to see what tactics Stewart employs to turn it around, but at this point this Penrith side looks very, very good. BUT it is a long season, I think the Penrith 5/8 is the key and to sound unsporting, if someone has to have a season ending injury, he would be the best choice for the other teams with genuine aspirations.
I hope similar analysis is being undertaken in our tactical war room!
I'm watching bits and pieces. Still don't think Penrith are the team to beat. They've got a fair bit of ref favour. I'd like to see them play a good side away from their home ground. They're just lucky and beatable and reckon they will fold before the season ends.
Panthers dont really have a weakness. You have to take them on in the middle and win the collision. If you let them get momentum and quick play the balls they will destroy any side.

"PG,
He’s already shown he’s not willing to be rushed into a decision by the Lomax camp to suit them.
From all accounts, he’s a straight shooter and an excellent judge. I believe he’s a former equity barrister as well, so he’s experienced and…"
"Coryn, now that your mates- the nz Taranaki rugby trainer has been booted out of Parramatta, the team won't be running out of breath after 5 minutes in Round 1 again mate. He really made a world of difference. "

Outstanding try by Burton...wow
Gee they are playing attractive footy in Attack. There 6 an7 are awesome.
Geez unless Penrith get injuries I can't see anyone beating them.
They're playing great football at the moment, and seem really well balanced as a side. It's a long season, but they do look very good.

Every team is beatable and has weaknesses.
Not this team.
Soldiers of fortune - the real deal.
They love it when a plan comes together.
