Best buys of 2016

SMH article:http://m.smh.com.au/rugby-league/league-news/nrl-season-2106-the-top-10-buys-20151014-gk8mi1.htmlBy MICHAEL CARAYANNISWith 2015 now done and dusted, Michael Carayannis looks at the recruits who could change your club's fortunes heading into next season.1 Roger Tuivasa-Sheck (from the Roosters to Warriors)Tuivasa-Sheck exploded to become the most damaging ball runner in the NRL after his first full season at fullback. The Warriors snuck under the Roosters' guard by offering the 22-year-old a three-year $2.5million deal. The contract makes Tuivasa-Sheck one of the NRL's best paid and the pressure will be on him when he returns home to guide the Warriors from pretenders to contenders.2 Kieran Foran (from the Sea Eagles to Eels)Ambassador material: Parramatta signing Kieran Foran.Ambassador material: Parramatta signing Kieran Foran. The Eels have struggled in recent years but he and Corey Norman will provide some much needed stability in the halves. Was enticed to the club because of his close relationship with coach Brad Arthur.3 Aidan Sezer (from the Titans to Raiders)Canberra call: Raiders recruit Aidan Sezer in action for the Titans.Canberra call: Raiders recruit Aidan Sezer in action for the Titans. Sezer will be hoping for a change of luck after injuries have hampered him in recent years at the Titans. Aside from playing alongside Austin, the "spine" at the Raiders is impressive with Jack Wighton at fullback and hooker Josh Hodgson.4 James Maloney (from the Roosters to Sharks)SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA - AUGUST 22: James Maloney of the Roosters is tackled during the round 24 NRL match between the Sydney Roosters and the Brisbane Broncos at Allianz Stadium on August 22, 2015 in Sydney, Australia. Maloney will give Cronulla a much needed kicking game. Has been fortunate to play alongside Mitchell Pearce in recent years and has played off the back of the game's best forward pack. Won't have the same luxury of outside backs that he had at the Roosters, so will need to create more on his own.5 Elliott Whitehead (from Catalans to the Raiders)ST HELENS, ENGLAND - FEBRUARY 06: Elliott Whitehead of Catalans Dragons is wrapped up by Mose Masoe and Jon Wilkin of St Helens during the First Utility Super League match between St Helens and Catalans Dragons at Langtree Park on February 6, 2015 in St Helens, England. Photo: Getty ImagesA relative unknown in the NRL, Whitehead has been among the best performers in the Super League in recent seasons. The 26-year-old back-rower has been named in England's squad to play New Zealand this year. Canberra will be looking to get the same value out of Whitehead that they did from his England teammate Josh Hodgson this year.6 Nate Myles (from the Titans to Sea Eagles)Out: Nate MylesMoving down the coast: Nate Myles Photo: Getty ImagesThe veteran Queenslander heads to Manly with a point to prove. While Myles will be a senior player, he will relinquish the captaincy role he had at the Titans. He will provide a great platform for Manly's young prop Jake Trbojevic. A representative mainstay, Myles will give the Manly forwards the grunt they have been missing in recent years and he can play big minutes.7 Issac Luke (from the Rabbitohs to Warriors)Not guilty: Issac Luke was found not guilty of a shoulder charge against the Cowboys.Crossing the Ditch: Issac Luke. Photo: Getty ImagesLike Tuivasa-Sheck, Luke returns home with great expectations. He cut short his stint at the Rabbitohs because of homesickness, which surprised plenty. His signing gives the Warriors some much-needed stability and gives the side arguably the most potent attacking team in the competition. Tuivasa-Sheck and Luke join Shaun Johnson to spearhead the Warriors.8 Trent Hodkinson (from the Bulldogs to Knights)No more football: Trent Hodkinson will miss the remainder of the season after injuring his wrist against Newcastle.Jersey switch: Trent Hodkinson. Photo: Getty ImagesThe incumbent NSW halfback will be the most complete player to wear the Knights No.7 jersey since Andrew Johns. The Bulldogs showed how much they struggled in the absence of Hodkinson when he was injured at the back end of the year. His calmness and consistency will be a bonus for new coach Nathan Brown. Could replace Kurt Gidley as skipper.9 Trent Merrin (from the Dragons to Panthers)Bad night: Trent Merrin of the Dragons looks dejected at Suncorp Stadium.Going west: Trent Merrin. Photo: Getty ImagesMerrin left the Dragons unhappy with how St George Illawarra's management handled contract negotiations, and has inked a three-year-deal with Penrith. The 2010 premiership winner will arguably be the biggest beneficiary of the reduced interchange next season. He has the ability to play long minutes and his footwork and off-load ability could prove a handful for tiring defensive lines.10 Joe Burgess (from Wigan to the Roosters)Joe Burgess wants to experience the Sydney lifestyle.Joe Burgess wants to experience the Sydney lifestyle. Photo: Getty ImagesA try-scoring machine for the Wigan Warriors in the English Super League, the 20-year is sure to add some excitement to the Roosters' flank. Burgess signed a three-year deal with the Roosters. He will team up with Roosters assistant coach Steve McNamara as a member of McNamara's English squad in the Test series against the Kiwis. He was picked in the Super League team of the year.

"Cheers LB. I just can't go past him, the only 5/8 on that list to play for Australia and multiple times, back in the 2000's he was one of our best players, i'd say he could even be second to the great Brett Kenny for us."

Ok so going through these rapid fire, particularly this one as this i reckon would be 100% for one player. I did some Halfbacks to make it respectful but not many to choose from.Dylan Brown won the vote at 6.https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/HGCBD291.…
