The other problem is the public transport. Unless you live in the old inner suburbs serviced trams, then forget it. It's why they keep widening their motorways, which just keep filling up.
I'd consider it if I was stuck in certain suburbs in Sydney , Sydney's looking like a cross between a World Vision ad and Dahravi these days.

Agreed - parts of Sydney's suburbs have become a dumping ground for new migrants etc. Road in and around Sydney are shocking and yet we still lack quality infrastructure. The new airport and traffic will be interesting in 10 yrs. The new houses all have tiny streets with large houses and no room to swing anything. I won't go too much into this...besides the increase in NDIS services in these areas; along with unemployment. There is going to be issues in years to come with so called new migrants who will not assimilate.....funny that.
Was up at the Goldy recently, and loved it. Could easily move up the Nth Coast / Goldy; and would be happy to try Perth.
I am happy with paying a Mill Coryn, not sure Perth would pay much more, depends on the dislocation and the competitiveness of Perth.....if I was him I would probably be wanting a signititive "buffer"
Nothing wrong with Perth as Pou says, but its a long way to travel and relocate when family are involved. Probably the nicest people in Australia live in Perth, a long time since I have been there, but cannot see it going backwards in other than NRL terms, not a smart move for Vlandys going there IMO, but he is a lot smarter than me.....its hard to argue, he is a big picture man.

You southerners are slow to catch on :)
Agreed Chiefy, but the Dinosaurs were here before any of them.....and then the ice age. For me its all about quality and being Australian.
