    • I joked before about MON but he has made some alright signings. When he first started he made the right signings. Here is a host of signings that complimented Arthur from 2019-22.

      Lane

      RCG

      Cartwright

      Papali'i

      Opacic

      Matterson (to start with)

      Sivo

      Moretti

      Then look recently

      Iongi

Lomax was a signing despite what happened

      Addo-Carr

      Williams

      Walker

He has had some good signings. Issue is getting those players that aren't looking for a chance, he needs to convince big names to join.

      • Its not the big names we need, its the big game players that we need to get us a step closer. For me i'd recruit Tago to pair with fox, that'd be a lethal dynamic. Then maybe you'd have to look at recruiting ball speed prop like Spencer Lenui, have Sam tuivati start and have spencer next to him you'd create havoc. Than get Moretti, doorey or Hopgood of the bench with the same go forward and paulo to ball play with walker to also create more go forward for moses to isolate players. Tago and Spencer would be perfect for us, people can talk bad about Tago but remember that guy has showed up to big games when it matters he defended his ass of against us in the GF. We need a winger that can eat meters and i'd go for Sabb. Recruitment should be easy but 3 targets for me would be Tago, Spencer and Sabb. We can make it happen, we neeed to really dial up in our recruitment. Three weapons next to Moses and some young guns could really give the comp a shake up.

    • Tip my hat to you Sir.

  • Off topic a lil here but

    Let's be real here

    Our spine should've still been

    mahoney (9)

    Moses (7)

    Brown (6)

RNR fkd up in a lot of different ways.

    • Mahoney one was Matt Arthur was the future.

      • That's correct.

The bush coach didn't want anyone blocking boods Arthur.

Also.  Jakey would be our 6 if ba wasn't still in the joint and the fans didn't stand up for the club

    • what about Gutherson at (1). ........it will make Chief's day if you can pull that one out of your arse.

PS Mahoney and Moses didn't get on, Brown got an offer he could not refuse and Gutho got a retirement package to take him into his sixties......Moses only survivor and he is overated, R&R could get rid of him.....then we could play with a new spine!

      • Gutherson at 1? Poppa you now need to put coins into the swear jar 🫙 . And knowing popo, he's that tight he pulled the globe light out of his fridge.   True story

      • If RNR didn't put PO options every year in browns deal he still would be here on a long term deal.

Mahoney and Moses didn't get on but we were 80 mins away from ending a 40 year hoodoo rightio buddy the RNR lowballed him offered him 450k-500 or something like that at the time.

    • Parra boy let's not forget when Norman and Moses were at each others throats and playing shit. R&R gave them both the choice to leave. Here below is an excerpt from AI that i asked.  so take it however you want re AI product, but R&R has been a problem for a while. Fancy telling Moses he can leave. Gulp! For the record Mark O'Neill joined the club in R&R in 2018.

Following the Parramatta Eels' disastrous 2018 NRL season, where they finished with the wooden spoon, management determined that the halves partnership of Corey Norman and Mitchell Moses was not working and that one of them had to leave

Here are the key details regarding the situation:
      • The "One Must Go" Directive: After a 0-5 start and a poor overall season in 2018, it became apparent the duo "just didn't work on the field". Club management decided to split the pair to change the team's dynamics.
      • The Targets: While many assumed Corey Norman would be the one to leave, the Eels also told Mitchell Moses that he was free to explore his options elsewhere, despite having joined the club only the year prior.
      • The Outcome: Corey Norman was ultimately released from the final year of his contract and joined the St George Illawarra Dragons for the 2019 season.
      • Moses' Reaction: Moses later revealed it was "heartbreaking" and "upsetting" to be told he could leave, but he ultimately remained at the club to lead the team in 2019
