Agree BE, he was an awkward player to fill a role that was becoming an injury liability. Hoping we can pick up someone different with speed.
Bailey struck pretty well for the 6 games he played this year breaking 29 tackles as well as having 8 offloads.
Sean Russell has broken 27 tackles in 18 games without having a single offload on his sheet.
Russell has improved a lot this year and has proven me incorrect on a few occasions but he is basic compared to Simonsson, who I label as being dangerous.
You dig deep after a major injury setback and tend to come back as a better player, mentally and physically.
Shame we will lose him.

Would have to come to an agreement with his next club, eels can just say no we are keeping you but if the other club is happy to pay his wage and take him that can happen. If the other club wants the eels to pay some of it they don't really have to because they aren't shopping him really, he's the one who wants out
My guess is titans would pay most of his contract or do a swap deal with the eels for a player. They are letting khan and Sami go so who knows what's happening

Go watch the trial game again from Newcastle. Look how he physically dominates Kai Peace Paul in defence. So that won't be an issue. It's about Richie stringing games together in cup after recovering from his ACL. The attack is where he needs to improve right now which he has plenty of on junior grades.
