Are Parramatta a "Nobody " Club ?

Is this prominent poster ( Coryn )  correct.  Are Parramatta a Nothing/Nobody team as he/she suggested to a prediction post before yesterday's great win.

This poster lives in New Zealand by the way.

You make up your mind on this member..

Is She/he right  Is Parramatta = Nothing ?

Can someone work out why and who this member really is ????

      • Fair questions.  I think by nature many people default to the negative.  Look at the numerous punters on this site who constantly predict we will lose by landslides. More often then not, they are wrong, but it clearly mentally prepares them , so if it occurs well that was to be expected, and if turns out better, well that's a bonus. Maybe Coryn, in his own way is one of those people who lean towards the negative, but expresses it in a different way to most.

        • There's things I do like and things I don't I think I make that fairly clear.

      • If want the real answer why don't you ask me where I think the real issues are at the club if I haven't echoed that already.Don't present what you think I'm thinking.I've made it quite clear where I think what this club is devoid of years ago.

Its bigger than a previous coach thing if you think that you've got it wrong for a starter. You just see what you want to see.

  • At this point I like that for the most part we are a team of nobody's. With a bit of time this group will be a team of somebody's. Early days but we're on the right track

    • Any team with a halfback of Mitch Moses stature isn't a nobody team. 6 games consecutively for Mitch 4 wins and 2 close losses.

      • I said for the most part

  • Well look at it this way, had Warriors won they would be labelled as flat track bullies, beating botttom 8 teams. Difference is they scraped home against Dragons at home, then nearly scraped home v Parramatta at home and lost it at final hurdle. That wouldn't be flat track bully territory.

I would not say nobody team but we are an enigma at the moment. Showing promise late in the year that give us hope for 2026 though have no idea what we will become.

So to be on the fence, we sort of are a nobody team at the moment though kind of aren't. Hard to explain yet fascinating to think about. We are nobodies at this stage, we have won some good games but still have not achieved too much. Though you can also count wins v Brisbane, Easts and the Warriors (two of them away) as achievements leading into a brighter future.

I will say in the media we are not getting too much credit considering Wests Tigers get glorified about how good they are looking, they bought way better than us with Luai, Turuva and the May brothers yet we are now equal on wins. Yet Wests Tigers are the sleeping giants of the West.

  • I've never met him/her so really can't say who he/she is. The Eels are definitely not a 'nobody' team. They're a great Rugby League team that I've been following for 50yrs. They almost won 4 premierships in a row and really should have beaten Canterbury in 1984 when the game was far tougher than it is today. So if a 'nobody' team can win 3 in a row then that means Penrith are a 'nobody' team, plus the Roosters who won 2 in a row 74 & 75 as well.

  • In last month i can say i am a very proud Parramatta supporter bar 1 week where lost to south

Go Parramatta win 1 more game this year

  • All the experts that matter like cronk, Kevin, Gus and Joey last have repeatedly said how impressed with Ryles rebuild- with a bit of luck we would have made the finals, I'll guarantee you no team would want to play us in the finals

"Which adds to the Warriors fans complaining about nothing with the Vaimauga touch. They had ample opportunities to win."
