Nearly a week has passed since Buzz & Adrian mentioned we had a 'good' backrower/middle but we haven't really heard anything since. Does anyone have any further information on this?

I hope we don't hear a thing regarding potential signings. Announcing targets before they have signed is not smart. It draws added attention to the players from other clubs and this increases their price. It also makes the club look bad if they miss their target. I would prefer the Eels to have a list of potential targets with the amount of money plus length of deal they are willing to offer and stick to it. Signing the wrong players has a snowball effect. The wrong player now can result in not being in a position to get the right player in 12 months time. The Eels probably won't be in a premiership winning position next year, however, if they remain patient with their recruitment, 2027 could be a realistic chance.
If Hands, Lane and Matto leave, we will have 4 spots available still. I recon one spot has to be for Api Twiddle. Renzo should get a development deal contract I recon. One spot for a middle forward. Than leave 2 open for players that stand out in preseason from the JF team. Teacum Brown and Araz Nanva stand out as the best options currently. Lokeni, Lewis, Neemia, De Stradis will also be in the fight for development deals
"It's a danger game as though NQ cannot defend they can also easily put points on, if we defend like we did v Melbourne we win.
But if I was Ryles use this as a we win no spoon game. If Titans beat Souths beforehand but 1 we are below them."
Probably the first game this year we are expected to win and win comfortably. Will be a real test for Ryles to make sure complacency doesn't kick in and we still play a good game. Cowboys look terrible at the moment but we can't just expect to show…

I think we are close to signing the panthers trainer
All i know is if that the signing does have leg speed, he won't be here, so that Rules out people like Douhie Gutherson and 1ee's Poppa
Oh great! I thought it was a 'very good' player.
My expectations have now decreased exponentially.
Nobody is coming !
There is a chance of that.
