Every time he gets tackled he cries to the ref that he deserves a penalty, and stays down @ every opportunity.
He is the biggest disgrace in the NRL.
The Ref are run By the NRL so they tell them who they want to win and how much by
Coached to stay down, it was a dreadful game that didn't deserve a winner. But at least the Roosters tried to play some footy.
Agreed, from two very average teams, someone had to win. The Dragons were the better of two shit teams.
Yep, the bad calls evened out in the end and the better team won.
We as supporters just want consistency and fairness from the refs, their keepers in the bunker as well as the players.
1) "crusher" tackle on Nightingale > he got hurt a bit so they penalise
2) Rein hit by Evans was a fraction after he passed, it wasn't late enough to warrant a penalty. But he got injured so it did.
3) McCrone gets hit way later than Rein, doesn't get injured, play on.
4) Dragons player at the end there has a head clash, gets KO'd, penalty due to an injury. If he doesn't get KO'd and gets up they play on. The refs were fine with it and only the replays caused a penalty to be blown.
There are going to be accidents and tackles with injuries. But it seems like whenever it is a head/neck injury, no matter how accidental, penalty. They don't want to get sued down the track etc so anything slightly bad looking gets a penalty and on report. NONE of those players will get suspended, and I'd say there's a good chance they don't even get cited. But their team is penalised on the day and it affects the outcome. Abhorrent
