we are definitely looking thin in the backs and also at hooker, I don't think we look to bad in forwards actually, we have some very good young forwards coming thru T Brown looks very good, if we can land Brian Kelly and another hooker we should be ok.
C'mon AI, surely Kautoga gets the left edge spot. What's the point in developing him, seeing huge progress and then dropping him after one injury. Williams was good there but he is good enough that he can play either edge or even in the middle. Defence is important so Kelma Tuilagi misses out.
💯 Kautoga is exactly the athletic and physical profile you'd want on the edge.
Outside of getting outplayed and out performed in pre season I see Gideon as a lock on the left edge.
Even after a rough start with errors last season JR stuck with him and I see no reason why he wouldn't continue doing the same.The guy actually rewarded the coaches faith and was progressing well until he got injured.
Me he's a lock on the left edge with Russell and JaC.Combinations are key especially when starting a new left side half.
