I don't see why either can't start the year in SG ball and progress quickly into NSW Cup. As I have said multiple times. Their physicality and skill won't be the reason they fail. Its whether the coaching staff can help transfer it into NRL.

JAC was suspended for 4 matches at Dogs before they sacked him anyway. Best I can tell the NRL policy is 12 matches for second offense? Unsure if that applies to out-of-competition positive results though. Let's imagine it does. If it does that would mean JAC is suspended until Round 13 of 2027, at which point do the Eels opt to follow the Dogs' lead and terminate his contract, and go after an outside back with that contract money?
Very disappointed in JAC. Stupid decision. The Eels already lack strike outside backs and now their fastest back has put a target on his own head.
Why are so many suggesting replacing JAC with Sloan? Sloan has signed a two year contract with some super league outfit.
He has said himself that he isn't sure what's going on there, the coach was sacked, he was meant to live at the coaches house.
Most of the Aussie players who sign with superleague clubs have get out clauses if they get an nrl offer.
He has been very open he doesn't want to go, now Carr is gone he definitely doesn't want to go.
