      • yeah I'm thinking he will be back round 19 for us, hopefully luai gets the job done in game 2 and that's the end of that

    • Take away the financial incentive for these players to play for their state and watch the passion disappear.

As I said before, these guys would play in a wheel chair if it meant taking home $50k for 1 game. Clubs income is guaranteed, Rep games only if selected.

Or here's a compromise; Origin is killing the NRL season each year and I think they need to move it, pause the comp or if running during the season compensate clubs for rep duty.

      • Just to be different, I don't think the money is as important to him as the prestige.

MM is a qualified financial planner who has a large share in advisory company. Football rep cash is peanuts in his big picture.

        • Prestige is one thing but let's test this theory.

I reckon my point stands and if the player payments were taken away, watch the players become unavailable.

        • You just made a reason why he would want the rep cash you idiot..

          • Talking about idiots Merkin.

Your remind me of an ant floating down the river with a "hard on" yelling open the bridge!

  • I would play Dylan Walker at 6. Yes his role is better in the middle but can still distribute and organise, freeing up Hawkins.

    • There is not  much freeing up to do LB. Hawkins is not a runner and neither is Walker. You have to find players to be running off them.  Take Iongi out and you negate Parra. You don't have Lomax so you have JAC on a wing with no one to set him up.

Better having Hawkins at half and one of the electric kids showng promise.....is that Twidle EA? Walker stays on the bench, is Simmo likely to be back for this game?

We are in deep shit with Moses, Brown and Lomax out.....Titans need a win badly, do you reckon they can sniff one against whoever we throw at them.
