Remember 2000 when the comp started early cause of the Olympics for the 1st 6 weeks clubs were allowed to have 2 extra Subs on the bench.
The 2 subs were permanent the player they replaced wasn't allowed back on.
I'd bring that back but with a 3 interchange players and 6 changes. Then 2 permanent reserves this would add a tactical aspect to the bench and team structure plus players like Stone and Perham whould then have a defined role within a team like ours
I'd rather have a system similar to soccer where you could have say, 7 men on the bench, but you can only use 4 of them. That way you can carry back up playmakers and outside backs without weakening your middle forward rotation
In soccer that is the case, but I'd still have limited interchange in RL, but maybe limited to one interchange per player, second time a player is interchanged he's off permanently.
Maybe have 6 subs on the bench but can only use 4 of those subs during the game. So if a spine or outside back gets injured early in the game, they can easily be replaced with someone who plays that position. If no injuries, can use the normal rotation they like
I think we all have more or less the same idea. The other advantage is if you have a young playmaker you want to blood, you could throw him in with 20 to go in a blow out game. Gets him some valuable game time, rests your starter.
"He could've come to Parra and roamed around and played what he saw while he played to his strengths and developed as a player ala what Blaize is doing at Penrith. Im not sure of his reasons for choosing Dogs but they were 1st and we were last at…"
"Galvin was a perfect fit (for us and him) it made absolute sense. The offer we made was the correct one $750k per season was the figure getting tossed around at the time. It should have been a match made in heaven. Ohh well we all make mistakes and…"

They can't come back on the field once they come off aswell is that correct

I dont mind that
Only Muttman and I manage to post the exact same thought at exactly the same time as each other 😂
Oh jeez a wierd mental triangle. Next question now is who is killing who???
