SPORTS fans in Western Sydney are about to be immersed into the middle of the game in one of the most technologically advanced stadiums in the world.The new $360 million Western Sydney Stadium at Parramatta will be home to the Eels and the Wanderers and will light up in the team’s colours every match day.“The Western Sydney Stadium will create a new benchmark for fan experience,” Sports Minister Stuart Ayres said.An artist's impression of the proposed new stadium. Picture: Supplied“This will be a modern day colosseum, with the steepest stadium seats in the country at 33.9 degrees — creating a wall of people and sound.The 30,000 spectators will be closer to the action than fans at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane and Aimee Park in Melbourne.“Fans won’t miss a second of the action, enjoying the game the way it should be watched — up close,” said Mr Ayres.Wherever they look, fans will be surrounded by the game.     • WSWanderers were pushing for 35,000 minimum, but the eels didn't want any more than 30,000
