As I do every year, I review Parramatta's season. This year it was a very tough one as a Parramatta fan. We had the worst injury toll of every club but some of the performances this year were still no doubt below the standard we want. He wasn't a FG half but Seraph, he was a second grader filling in for Hughes and ultimately showed up as one. Besides that the NRL was well aware of the circumstances of it being a one year deal. Even Luai is only on 700k for his one year, Pezit being on half that would be more than acceptable.
What difference was he to Volkman, other than inferior, what do you think Volkman is getting paid, he has played more first grade than Petit.
Note also that Luai is on around 1.2 plus with Tigers and is reputably going to PNG on 1.4...where is your NRL logic on that basis, when he gets 700k for his Parra deal. I love talking to people like you who follow the game so readily.
PS Strange you would get into a discussion against me, do we have a problem? cannot see why when your island is small, surely there is room for an "old man".
My logic is the fact that the Tigers are chipping in the $500k to make up his remaining value as agreed upon by both clubs.

Maybe Pezet is another one of those former Melbourne players who looked good when he was playing for them and surrounded by a bit of talent but once their out of that system it is when they get exposed. I've seen it happen with a few of them that looked great for Melbourne when surrounded by the likes of Smith, Cronk, Slater, Munster etc but then flounder outside of that.
Pezet is no longer our problem now. He is going to that fortress of happiness,brotherhood and......Madge Maguire. Good luck- you are going to need it in that environment.
