Why is it concerning when it's a team who struggles to attract talent you got to give the money to someone and while junior is well into the back 9 he's still the clubs best middle so he'll get paid accordingly.
If we can pay Mitchell 1.3 the last 3 yrs for playing what 50-60 % of games I guess junior falls in a similar category.

The real concern is we struggle to attract talent we've got this fantasy island list I suspect that's where the real concern lies not who we give money to within our boundaries it's attracting the difference makers from the outside that's the real concern.
Players such as Tannah Boyde would be on the 480 to 550k money. Now Boyd has plenty of experience and was first choice halfback for many games taking over that role at the warriors as the chief playmaker leading them to many victories.
Volkman has only 25 fg games at 24 yo, has had very serious injuries and has played a handful of good matches for the eels. He isn't regarded as a starting player and we signed Luai also. Then he had very little interest since Nov 1 lat year and only a late bid from the dogs .

A player similar to Volkman for me is like a jock madden at wests. Has a lot of talent but still working their way into a full time nrl spot. Volkman gets to learn under luai and Moses which is probably the best spot to be in for him at 24 years old. Doesn't get any better

I don't get the learn off Luai BS how can you learn off someone whose going to have a limited off season prep because of third party commitments elsewhere and is only here for 5 minutes.
