We do have some juniors upgraded. Not saying that's enough but 2-3 spots a year are juniors coming through. Not every replacement has to be external.
Juniors should be logically easier to keep on less money. I.e. they were made by a club, grew up at a club so would be willing to stay for less for the "love" of the club.. But that doesnt seem to be the case in the nrl when you consider Melbourne and Easts are always top sides without juniors and not to mention redcliffe.
Makes you wonder if there is any point to developing home grown juniors.
Explain Ryda then? Declined going to Penrith to stay. What about Koina? Left family in Brisbane to come to Parra as he grew up supporting them.
Though only two examples still examples. Two of our best coming through.
