It looks like Todd Carney wants one final shot at the NRL
For me, Todd Carney is the greatest halfback that never was and is the Rugby League equivalent to a Ryan Leaf or Fredy Adu..
But unlike those Athletes, Carney has proven himself to be a brillant player at the elite level, winning the Dally M in 2010.
Carney's problem has always been attitude and never about his playing ability. This is why I'm putting the question out there... should we throw Todd a life line in 2018
Its been 4 years almost since his last controversy and Todd has kept a low profile in Super-League for a few years now... Knowing BA to be the miracle worker he is, he will get the best out of Carney like he has for other players seeking a second shot such as wicksy, kenny and manu ma'u
Of course i cant see him getting more than 1 year second tier contract.. but they may suffice for our playing needs next season. With Dargan still very young, Robson now retired and Gutho settling into the fullback role, there is lack of depth in halves department and little competition for Moses and Norman.
I know we were linked with him a season or so ago, but do we throw Carney a lifeline for next season?

Yes id give him a go on a 1 year contract with incentives for sure, he would put some healthy pressure on Corey and Moses and keep em honest.
more the Corey side, Moses , I was pleased with
Yep I'd have him. Loads of ability. Could fill a position like Connor Watson did this year for the Roosters. If you could get him cheap he would be a bargain buy. Surely by now he has grown up!
macca : He is barred from his home town Goulburn by the local police. That leaves Goulburn jail! Yes or No ?
