Hey guys,
I'm heading over to America on Thursday for 3 weeks. Pretty pumped about the trip but trying to figure out how I can watch my beloved eels. I have a couple of questions:
1. Apparently Qantas have started introducing some Foxtel on their flights. I'm hearing sport will be an option at some stage. Has anyone flown international with Qantas lately that can confirm if this is true?
2. Alternatively, what are the odds of connecting to a streaming website through the inflight wifi? I'm guessing that would be a long shot.
3. Is it hard to connect to a streaming website in the USA? I do quite alot of travelling so i'm familiar with firstrowsports, wiziwig, crichd etc. but I know every country has different restrictions.. Would I need to get a VPN?
I know there is no chance that NRL will be showing in a sports bar. The time difference is whacked plus Americans are too obsessed with their own sports.
Any advice/info is much appreciated!
Cheeers!!

I would contact the NRL and actually ask the question directly about access in the location you will be
Will no doubt be an interesting answer
Have you seen this? http://www.nrl.com/international-streaming-details/tabid/10874/news...
This is what I use - works fine no matter where you are.
Qantas don't offer wifi on their intl fleet - i'm not sure but I think they might have scrapped it domestically as well. I've used it on both QF domestic and in the US on a domestic carrier and it was rubbish both times anyway - expensive and kept dropping out.
Mate - just enjoy the flight - no one will be able to tell you the score anyway - and watch it as if it's live when you get there :) Definitely invest in Express VPN though - money well spent :)
Get a VPN called Hotspot Shield... Also handy for when u get back to Aus as it's one of THE ONLY VPNs u can use with Netflix... Meaning u can watch the USA version of Netflix (which has a shit load more content) from Australia

Use this. You don't need a VPN. Games are under Rugby category.
