If he gets off shoulder charges will be back next year.
Ridiculous if he gets off! It just sets a wrong precedent for next season. If Slater gets off then it's quite obvious that the big name players are above the law! Justice hasn't been served at all! Very distasteful in my opinion! It's also a disgrace that some of these well known players and commentators are opening there big mouths and voicing their support for Slater because of who he is and not based upon the NRL rules which has clearly been broken by Slater!
They're paid to have an opinion, regardless of whether you agree with it or not.
True Brett, they're entitled to their opinions but it's more than obvious that certain high profile players and commentators should wait until the hearing is complete before opening their big mouths to get Slater off which is basically all they're attempting to do.
Is that so ….
His lawyer is now saying that Slater didn't make a conscious decision to use his shoulder.
Clearly Slater's lawyer knows how to word his arguments to best appeal to the panel.
Panel members are Sean Garlick, Bob Lindner & Mal Cochrane.
