Segeyaro and Eels according to Lurker

James Segeyaro seems destined to sign with Cronulla in the coming days, but the Eels were also keen - with Corey Norman pushing hard to get the controversial hooker on board.Norman is good mates with Segeyaro and has been begging coach Brad Arthur and chief executive Bernie Gurr to sign the former Panthers and Cowboys hooker.

  • I think if Norman went to BA and BG begging them to sign him, Seggy's draft contract would have been torn up then and there.

  • lol never go off by what the Lurker says
  • Yeaaaaah...

    What the luke'ster said lol
  • They are best of mates, but BA has his eyes on bringing Peatsy back at the end of the year. Moving him to the Titans wasn't BA,s first choice and he wants him back now that the old board can't interfere. It's a wrong that BA wants to right.
  • Peats wants 650 a season I heard and parra don't want to pay that
    • The sticking point is believed to be money, I don't know the figures at all, but 2 things in play . The Titans are willing to pay , but peats wants to be in a competitive team with a competitive coach that can help elevate his game to origin level. Parra will front load some player payments this year to make room under the cap for next year, if we don't have to go into the market before this years ,mid year cut off to cover for injuries, bad form or our halves combination not dominating. It would seem we are in a holding pattern waiting for the variables to become apparent. Would be awesome if they get it over the line.
      Go Parra !
    • I liked Peats when he was at Parramatta, but 650k a season, he's almost guaranteed to miss 1/4 of the season in injury.
    • Pears is shit all d no attack a very plain Booker much rather segeyaro
  • I'd still rather Cooke from souths
    • I'd rather Kaysa Pritchard.

At the right price, he'd be a good signing."

"I think this is more an indication of the players around him. How many good lines do you see players like guymer and other forwards running to score tries. Or outside backs getting in a position to score. "
