  • I take it ZDC has been dropped from Wenty after being signed by the Panthers? No point in developing him over our other juniors.

  • Cerruto comes to us from the Tigers and Elkander comes to us from the Panthers.

    • Any raps on either of them?

  • Why is dargan not named ?
    • Possibly injured. He hasn't played for a few matches now, I think the last game he played was against the Cowboys.

    • Oh okay, thanks for the update. How has he been playing pre-injury?
    • That's good to hear, cheers for the info ham.
  • Man, how the hell you prononce some of those names? Flaming tongue twisters

  • From the one Panther fan who has responded to me they didn't really rate Elkander, on his profile on the panthers' site it said that if he got into the clear there would be no stopping him. So not too sure on him. Cerruto seems to be more highly rated. Tigers fans were talking him up as their best fullback option for this year and were wondering why someone else was playing there in front of him. Seems to make a fair few metres this year but is error prone, averaging 2-3 per game. Be interesting to see how both go.

Mason Cerruto should be first choice Fullback in my opinion. Played with him last year for Camden Rams in the Group 6 First Grade competition. At just 18 years old he was getting Player's Player every game, carving up opposite teams with his scoots out of dummy half and his strong ball running. Rarely missed a tackle on much more experienced and bigger opposite players. His preffered position is Fullback though and knowing his work ethic and ability I think he will be there come Round 1.

    • Ineteresting that they've pulled across another fullback considering how highly the club rates Bevo, although I spose Bevan might not end up playing too much more 20's moving foward.
