Amazing how many people suffer from depression that are in professional roles like athletes.
Not sure whether it's the pressure they put on themselves to perform or is it the thought of not making the most of while you can.
I'm pretty sure Chad Robinson was tied up in a similar incident after his career ended.
Sad that people who take their own lives think it's the only solution to solve a problem.

It's the loss of comradery that most struggle with, having been part of something for so long and then all of a sudden, not. It's akin to grief really.
Cooper Cronk will make just as much post footy as he made in it . Smith , slater the same . The guy that played 40 games with no skill set or connections post footy is the vulnerable one

Also concussions could be connected to early dementia, but studies are not complete yet.
