What the stats don't show is that our kicking game was far superior to St George. This was a critical factor to putting pressure on the Dragons, in lieu of penalties. We weren't relying on just one kicker, and in fact we had four out there, which created doubt in the opposition defence. We may also have missed a lot of tackles, but we scrambled in defence of our own line.
yesterday was a clone of how parra should play all games in my view, kicking to the corners ,gatho at fullback, french on the wing, and jennings on the right ,and taka on the left..
out of the game it was sad that we lost our hooker , we need to buy one no doubt, alarm bells are ringing in my view with tim mannah, hes getting opened up in the head almost week after week, tim will have huge problems if this keeps up, i think it time tim retired or moves on, at the least he should wear head gear..
the team went well and will smith was a blessing he was on our bench...
parra on 16 points with a bye this week, will take them to 18 points with another bye coming will be on 20 points. so after that we need 5 wins to finish on 30 points, which should make the 8... or maybe 28 points..
parra needs to take the bulldogs , before the storm game....will we get 4 to 5 more wins?, i think yes.
We play the storm without their origin players also
You'd boo Santa Claus mate
Excellent, I'll add it to my list of lists that I'm on.
What does it also say about saints? Who've had an off season with halves..?
Fong, we all know how much you hate the Eels. Just look at your avatar. Any proud Eels supporter could never stoop that low. If you don't like the club or the team, you are welcome to disappear mate.
You can only beat who's in front of you Frankie. It's clear the coaching staff wasn't happy with the performance. BA said as much in the presser that it's always good to get a win but the side has to be a lot better in their completion rate and staying in the game. We were fortunate the Dragons have been struggling the past couple of weeks but at the same time we still did enough to beat them and we only had 15 men with about 20 minutes to go.
