I agree the effort wasn’t there.
You can’t have forwards like Scott and Evans with only 6 hit ups each.
And wingers with only 1 hit up - French. Even G. Jennings had 9 runs which is low.
Our wingers had 10 runs between them compared to Raiders 27 runs.
Surely we need to replace both wingers - last year we had Semi and Auva’a getting our sets off to a start. We need to address that and ditch the lazy forwards.

But it’s not merely our outside backs. Our forwards are just shit. Easily the worst in the nrl. Clearly.

you held us together during 2016, maybe there are salary cap circumstances I don’t know about but bottom line is, after 4 years this is your forward pack? On that alone you’re finished. We have the worst pack in the comp. I’d trade every forward we have for any other team’s pack. We are a disgrace.
RV: Our No 9 had 53 tackles tonight, the most of any player on the field and ,I suspect, more than any player in games played so far this week. The effort was there in defence. In attack we have gone walk about. I don't think we can sack the wingers. G Jennings has gone OK in my opinion, he has scored two tries in 3 games--the team has scored only 9 tries in 6 games. French has just returned from injury.
Flat as a week old beer. I've tried to refrain from any direct criticism of BA but he really seems totally out of his depth. He is floundering/drifting with absolutely no plan B, no inclination to rattle the cage, just more of the same & hope that the cycle magically turns.
Having also previously listened to Steve Murphy, assistant coach, I think that the whole coaching staff appear to be infected with the same malaise.
Don't expect too much in the immediate future but honestly, I hope I'm wrong. 2018 looks like its now gone & we still have BA under contract for 2019, & unfortunately it looks like he is incapable or unwilling to try anything different to turn things around.
In a nutshell, more of the same & hope it changes, thats it folks.
I actually thought the effort was largely good. We simply don't play a style of footy that suits the players we have. Our current team has a forward pack that simply cannot compete with their opposition on size and power. Our attack suffers from the slow play of the ball so we have no go forward. When we get a penalty we foolishly take an age to take the penalty, thus taking all of the pressure off the opposition We need to play fast in order to tire out the bigger teams and then our attack will improve.
The person who should be held accountable for this is BA. He is clearly out of his depth and as good a bloke as he might be the decent thing to do is for him to fall on his sword today.
And then? The only point in BA stepping down is if there's someone better willing to take over. Who's that?
