Premiership Club

Just interested to hear people thoughts or knowledge on what bearing the Premiership Club (Bill Moss's concept) never having gotten off the ground had on this whole saga.

Who was responsible for knocking it on the head?

Could all of this have been avoided with an external party being involved in organising third party agreements?

Thoughts, ideas, knowledge?

  • The board rejected it then formed thier own and it failed miserably ,just an excuse for a free pissup and dont they !
    • OK Roger, excuse my ignorance but why would the board form their own Premiership Club to organise these agreements? How is that the club being at arm's length from the third party? Sorry I must be missing something or is this what we are dealing with our current board?

  • Mate, as a regular fan, I have no idea what is going on politically.. Maybe I should.. I m a paying member after all.
You see that is the very problem.. When I sign up to follow my team, I don't want to know the bloody politics. When I hear the names of price and kenny and sharp I wish it was just nice old memories of barely remembering them as a kid with my old man.. Now, when I hear the name bill moss i just think agendas, rich, someone's side.. I don't pretend to know anything, I know nothing about the clubs politics.. I don't care for it.. Except I pay $300 a year, get a shitty beany and scarf and i get to watch my team play 12 times a year in a dedicated seat somewhere in the Cronin stand..
Unfortunately now, I am forced to educate myself.. Which has been near impossible, as the current goose sharp, is what I would call a fantastic liar.. Bill moss on the other hand, I don't care what he says.. He, like the rest has been involved in some way I m sure.. And because of that, should just disappear and become a fan.
I do hope the NRL just step in, and take over.. Sort it out and move on, so I, like many others can concentrate on being arm chair coaches and who we are playing on the weekend with a love for team list Tuesday's
Stuff bill moss and what he said... It's pointless, as is my response
  • Their first meeting was mistakenly booked at a venue with stairs .
    • What a small minded comment that is
  • Cheers mate .

Ok let's seriously cover why Bill shouldn't be involved with our club then .

    • Wiz your point is what? There is SFA in that story linking Bill Moss with any of it, in fact it says he wasn't even aware of any threats being made. At the end of the day he wants his money back and he allegedly used what avenues he had available and no wrong doing could be attributed back to him. Maybe there is a lesson to be learnt in that for our board?

      • Mate I'm not sure whether you were taught to read English in a Philipino call centre but that story directly links Bills company to having Kazal collect that debt . Unless you're blindingly here to endorse Bill I'm sure you can see in that story where Bill went rogue in that story , or are you saying that people within Bills organisation went rogue without Bills knowledge ? Wow that's sounds familiar . Sorry Bill , that story was kinda not supposed to come out I guess ?

Hey out of curiosity what's your thoughts on Bills company being involved with one of the dodgy TPAs ? ACTUALLY , by reports Bills Black Citrus was one of the key parts of the investigation ..You reckon Bill was aware ? Could Bill have tipped the NRL off out of spite for being shown the ramp ? Or was someone going rouge right under his nose yet again ? Geez bit of a trend starting here hey .....Or even worse do you think that the bloke everyone wants to run our club had absaloutly no idea of the TPA rules forbidding companies under contract to our club to supply TPAs ? Imagine Bill running the show lol , we'd have TPAs with Blades , Steeden , Powerade and Fountain Sauce .

Look I have no issue with hiring standover men to physically threaten members of the public to repay their debts , but I'm also like Bill not the kind of person I'd want running the club .
        • Maybe what I wrote requires clarification, Bill Moss had nothing to do with threats being made. I'm not sure what strategies debt collectors use but I have no doubt some coercion is used. I think going rogue is a slight exaggeration on your part.

I'm no one Wiz so my endorsement counts for nothing. Just an Eels fan who would like to see the club get back on it's feet. Some of that is learning from past mistakes, not having the Premiership Club I feel was a mistake.

Lastly, I think my reading is OK. Cheers mate.

          • I also think The Premiership club was a great idea , but I would've loved to be a fly on the wall to hear exactly why Moss was punted so shortly after Sharp and Co tried to ellivate him into an official roll within the club . In one day , out the next . Made me curious .

There's been people pushing his barrow here for months so you'll have to excuse my bluntness in expressing my opinion of his endorsements . Anyone who is happy to sell debts to Underworld figures to collect ( let's not forget how much money Bill has ) to collect in the scale of things pocket change , is a shark mate . Let's put it in perspective , Bills worth what tens of millions ? Hundreds of millions ? And he sent this dude to threaten this fellow over was it 60k ? Debts are debts and should be fecking paid but this demonstrates Bills willing to go outside the rules to get what he wants . More of the same it seems yeah ? It's like you or I sending a thug to collect $20 .

            Traits of psychopath bro .
