Now I know we have had several (way too many) blogs on the subject of this site's deficiencies - HOWEVER - You are getting ripped off Phil if you are paying for the displeasure.
How come you can go into some pages without difficulty and post - BUT - click on another page and it simply NEVER fully loads thereby blocking you from replying.
Sometimes (if you are lucky) you get the page error message and it doesn't open at all - BUT (again) "Please notify us if you get this message again"
LIKE if you can't access the freeking site How the Feck are we going to send you a message saying "We can't fecking get in"?
New platforms, old platforms the Train is off the tracks and someone is paying good $$s for the privilege of getting ripped off.
Just sayin' in case you haven't noticed mate.

Too loved to fuck it off , but too unimportant to restore as a weekend toy . It's like " I'll keep it cause it's still worth something for now , but if it rusts away who gives a shite "
In regards to the current platform. This site is hosted on Ning and Ning has undergone a face lift and offered some pretty sh!thouse upgrades which I don't believe Phil has implemented as it'd take away some key functions. As Phil stated in a blog a couple of months ago, this site will eventually move to a new platform, more equipped to handle the amount of traffic it gets.
At the moment this platform is at its limits, hence the issues with page loading and the like.
Mate I run the sooper dooper yew bewt NBN at 100mbps - but because of COPPER and being a few K's from the exchange I can run as low as 5mbps - YES - that is NOT a typo I said FIVE mbps.
I was told to expect not much better than 75mbps BUT................................*sigh*
Just as an aside - it just took me 3 attempts to get in here and reply.
Oh yes - my 'Poota is about 18 months old - custom built with all sorts of goodies on it to make it work beterrer.
I'd love to change over to the NBN and happily pay more for it if I knew I'd be getting even close to what speed they're promising, but I'd be pissed if I swapped over only to get the same or less speed than I already have.
How close to the 100/40 are you getting in actual download speed? What speed are you getting when you download an update on Xbox? Sounds like you're actually getting what was promised when the NBN was first talked up.
I'm in a small town with a population of about 20,000, and we were lucky enough to get fibre to the home when the NBN rollout was being done that way.
I feel for you guys who are paying for a service and not getting what you are paying for.
