NRL could fix this sin bin walk off crap in 2 secs - do that = sent off. Won't happen again. But that would too hard for this inept administration to actually contemplate... easier just to watch yet another blight on the game continue.
absolutely right Will. Can’t believe they didn’t do something about it after their very own man Cam Smith disrespectfully did the same thing ...massive stuff you to the fans and spirit of the game.
It's just pathetic. Such a small & simple thing but shows why this code under Greenturd & co is just a joke. He would more likely come out with some crap like "we'll be looking at a number of things in the off season and that will be one. We take it very seriously and it's about giving the fans what they want. But it's not that simple, we'll have to discuss it with the coaches, the players, the refs... blah, blah, blah...".
He should simply advise Bernie Sutton with a cc to every coach saying effective next week, when a player is sin binned they must take the shortest most direct path to the sideline and be off the field immediately. Failure to do so will result in immediate send off. Problem solved.
Seriously, that was a prime example of why this game is going down the drain, to put it nicely.
Learned from his grub captain, who did the same thing when sin binned against sharks
If the NRL and refs tolerate it then why not do it?
Absolutely no incentive for him to run off and not give his team a breather. That issue is on the rule makers not the player of their club. If one of our guys got binned I'd hope they'd do the same. Surely not even Mannah would sprint off.
