Does anyone know if he was let go by Parra? I actually enjoyed his footy last year when he shifted to the back row and started to run some nice tidy lines. If he was let go where has he gone ?

He was mentioned in the paper 2 to 3 weeks ago with a list of other second tier players moving on. I would have kept him for another year as I saw a heap of improvement in his game late in the season when he moved into the backrow. It appears that half a dozen or more u20's have been upgraded to Wenty for 2018?
Yes you are correct. But I think the club did try for too long to make him into an NRL winger/centre when he was too slow for first grade. But the several games I saw him in the secondrow late in the season he was a lot better player. From what I can tell it appears the club have gone with a youth policy for Wenty and a lot of the u20 GF team will go fulltime with the big boys next year.
Blacktown Workers Sea Eagles sign John Folau for 2018 Intrust Super Premiership season
John Folau finished his last season with the Parramatta Eels thinking he would take a year off from rugby league.
The 23-year-old Kenthurst resident made his mark with the Parramatta Eels in 2015 and scored four tries in his first five matches.
Off contract with the Eels at the end of last season, Folau was ready to take a break until Blacktown Workers Sea Eagles Intrust Super Premiership head coach Steven Hales made contact.
“I was going to take a year off for family reasons, I was thinking of joining a club and then Halesy rang me up and I decided to come down and have a run,” he said.
The pair previously worked together at Parramatta, when Hales was an assistant coach for the Eels under-20s team.
The younger brother of Wallabies fullback Israel Folau, John regularly plays on the wing and centre but enjoyed playing in the back row towards the end of last year.
Folau will line up with a few of his former teammates who also have NRL experience in Jacob Loko and Vai Toutai.
Although he grew up in Campbelltown, Blacktown holds a special place for him after going to Patrician Brothers Blacktown for his last two years of school.
“It’s like coming back and playing for the club,” Folau said.
“There is a lot of talent coming out of these areas and it’s good to come back and play at a club like this, especially with the squad that Halesy’s got here. Hopefully we go pretty well next year.”

I think JF had his chance BD, a bit like Pauley Pauley.....they were always pea hearts.
I'm not a Kaysa fan, but would love to put his heart into either of those bodies!
