"Yep, both teams did well with 12 men for the first 10 mins. Having a second player sent for the final ten minutes is always gonna be a big ask. Their comments fail to recognise any of this."

"Just shown on Ch 9 that Turbo was offsite with the incident when he chased the ball that sent Penisini to the sin bin. The bunker and ref and 2 touch judges were all influenced by the crowd. "

Because he doesn't play for Parra.
Let's see what the NRL commission do.
Kenny Edwards - throwing water - 8 weeks ( Dickhead )
Semi Radradra - Proved innocent - 8 weeks ( Nothing to see here )
Corey Norman - Associating with crim's - 8 weeks ( Not a crime )
Not an Eel but Todd Carney pissing in his own mouth - Never to play in the NRL again.
If the NRL have their way he will get 2 weeks because they like the Raiders.
Looking at what he did, he should have him OUT OF THE GAME FOREVER !
Over to you Greenburg
We're not going to remove the thugs and dickheads from the NRL. If we did no team would field a full side. League is a working class game and it's very popular in working class communities. It is what it is.
It's also a contact sport that teaches and rewards targeted aggression and physical strength.
It's also a sport played by young males.
So we have Young Males + Aggression and Strength + Working Class Communities. What do we expect? The game will be full of some nice guys, some thugs and some dickheads. Let the courts sort the thugs and dickheads out, why should the NRL play integrity police? It's a losing game.
If the crime gets time then they won't be able to play because they'll be in jail. Otherwise, could we just stop expecting every NRL player to be a saint or someone to look up to for morals and ethics? They're there because they are strong and aggressive, not because they're good people. We have courts to deal with criminal behaviour, they dish out punishments. Why does the NRL feel the need to double dip? It's not like the games administrators are people to be looked up to either...
Well said Captain.
Agree with The Captain. Also, the crime/s committed was OFF-THE-FIELD during the off-season/pre-season.
So, the NRL shouldn't "Double-dip" like The Captain said. But people will go on about how "kids look up to him as a role model" etc. Parents should be the kids "role model", not friggin' footballers.
