Coaches right to challenge calls

The NRL is starting to lose a lot of credibility from betting influence, refereeing decisions and games being decided unfairly.

Here's one innovation I think would really help to rub out poor refereeing decisions. In the NFL, each coach has two challenges to use during the game - they only ever get two irrespective of whther the challenge is successful. They can be used during stoppages in play.

Why don't we give Coaches in the NRL two challenges that could be used to refer a decision to the Video Ref. I don't think this would slow the game down as the Challenges would only be used when the game is stopped anyway (such as where a try has been scored).

That way we are not relying on the whims of the Refs to decide when calls get referred upstairs or to make inexplicable decisions on the field. Most other sports are introducing challenges, why not the NRL?
