Shit game that ended 0-0 after extra time, but the penalty shootout was thrilling.

We missed our first attempt and we looked gone but didnt miss again, Peru missed twice.

Absolutely thrilling ending, socceroos went nuts.

  • Omg i forgot to wake earlier to watch it. Must have been comparable to the Aloisi goal back in the day.   Can't wait to watch the highlights . We were 5$ in sportsbet,

    • Andrew Redmayne was subbed on at the end to keep for us, the big bearded keeper was jumping around everywhere, lucky it paid off.

  • I can't believe that they are considering adding more teams to the World Cup finals. Whoever won this game don't deserve to be there and will be cannon fodder for the other teams in the group.

  • Andrew Redmayne, the Grey Wiggle, give the man a statue.

    • Im only a soccer casual, if that, id never seen him in an international before today.

He was either going to come off looking like a champion or idiot, glad it was the former lol

Its made world headlines, everybody is talking about our dancing keeper, some very interesting youtube stuff on it from the uk

  • They need to sack Ricky Stuarts clone now- Graham Arnold and get a real coach in for the World Cup.

Tough draw we draw France again.

  • If we'd lost it would have topped off a shit weekend.
I'll be cheering on the Kiwis tomorrow against Costa Rica, though if they make it their group will be very tough -Spain, Germany and Japan.

"What a team, who said they couldn't play. Chuckle. They stood up big time today and made our day.
Our forwards showed we can do this, by chopping anyone in blue and white down, inspired mainlyby De Belin, Junior, Ryley and Saxon Pryke. They were…"

"I think Walker not starting helped set the tone. He came on fresh and our attack was a lot better. De Belin took on the brunt of the traffic early and Walker came on after 20."

"Oh i wouldn't put Pryke at Hooker in attack. Maybe Walker as desperation and just have someone like Pryke just play that Lock role. Pryke is a middle, tuck it under the arm and run middle.
If Pryke was in the 80's he would play 150 games.
But yeah…"
