Semi final crowd number

NRL in crisis. 35k tonight including many free tickets given away. Penrith fans are the biggest bandwagon fans in recent history and still don't show any passion.

Check out the AFL. GWS vs Collingwood at a deadset jam packed MCG

  • One of the most boring finals games I've seen to 🤣

  • 97665 at the G, considering Giants had 665 at the ground . That was phenomenal. NRL had to shut down the top tier lighting so it wouldn't show empty seats on tv

    • They've been shutting down most of the crowd lighting at Accor Stadium since last season regardless of the crowd. It looks terrible. Such a stupid decision. Can't see the crowd when it's full.

"Good blog, Bluey. Your concerns are fair. Where we differ is what “all in” means. I don’t think we are "all in" only on juniors. We are "all in" trying to improve across the whole footy spectrum.
We have got plenty of recent imports. Iongi, Walker,…"

"Bingo. I've been in media boxes and overheard well known journos saying they've made up news because they didn't have anything. Or the journos do no digging beyond asking the manager. And managers will say whatever they need to get their client a…"

"We shouldn't need to go to the Central Coast. But if Easts are using that area as their predominant development area, they should be relocated there. Same with Melbourne. It's a joke having a team planted in a geographical location where they don't…"

"While the focus is on juniors, as that is where you can offset the likes of the Roosters who poach talent, and close the gap from a salary cap perspective, we don't turn our nose up at recruiting externally where required.
Iongi a good example. We…"

"Melb are only seeing some locally produced come on now; we all know Melb is not RL; Easts the same and while frustrating they saw the Central Coast and pounced when others like us didn't."

"His yardage is his best trait. As long as he fix his error count and gets more invovled in yardage he will dramatically improve. His meters per carry is pretty good but he just doesn't do enough of it during games."
