Nathan Brown sacked, Stacey Jones interim

Nathan Brown made it clear he will not relocate to New Zealand with the Warriors, can be seen two ways; one good, one bad. Good as in he at least let them know now before they moved back then needed to find a coach quickly instead they have time to get who they want. Bad as in they now need a new coach, Stacey Jones is a great candidate but what did Brown expect taking up the role with the 'New Zealand' Warriors? They were going back to New Zealand at some point, probably took for a job but surely he wouldn't be short of a job.

Anyway it is good they've sorted it out, no fair having a coach who seemed to blantly act incompetent for the sake of getting sacked so he did not relocate.

"I did see his passing a tad bit slow, i agree. But luckily he is 19, not the finished product. As for it hurting his development, i do not see how it will if he gets a 10-15min stint in a few games. Now, if Hands went down and he played 60-80mins…"

"Would like to see Twiddle get a chance at 6 in cup by the end of the year. Absolutely lethal in attack in flegg. All the points are coming of him. He reminds me of Tedesco so much. Will be hard to get a chance with Sanders, Lynn and Asi normally…"

"Hopefully Doorey is elevated next week into the 11 jumper. Carty on the other edge and keep lane in the middle off bench. "

"I am hoping the bye brings about some changes from the NSW cup.
Doorey, Arthur, Guymer shoud feature without a doubt IMO.
By end of season I really hope 2 of them are starters in the 17 long term. Maybe even the likes of Tuivati accelerated. "

"Someone said in one of the blogs here that MON had worked/played or coached by McDermott before. Could it be that MON had some 'inputs' provided to the other pencil pushers and this might be the reason why McDermott is not being considered???"

"Difference is Matt won't be playing full 80. Jake thrown into the halves to play full 80 and put on the bench when he is a specialist half.
At least Matt will make sense on the bench."

"The concern would be if anything happened to Hands early in a game and he was required to play many more minutes than the 10-15 suggested."
