The Parramatta Eels have continued their raid of the Queensland Cup.
Sunshine Coast falcons winger Zion Johnson has signed a deal to join the Eels next year. Johnson managed 17 tries in 22 appearances for the Falcons who made it to the Grand Final.
Zion’s good form saw him be picked as part of the Fiji World Cup Squad.
Zion has signed a train and trial deal so will need to go out and prove himself. At 25 Zion has plenty of experience and clearly knows how to find the try line!!

This 'kid' is 25. Would have thought he'd be well into an NRL career if he had that much potential. Perhaps he's a Cody Walker, late bloomer?
Maika Sivo debuted with us at 26 years of age. It can happen. Not very often but you can get some good mid 20 rookies to blossom late.
How old was Semi when he came to us?
I'm pretty sure he spent his final year of NYC (under 20s) eligibility with us, so he would've been 19 at the start of preseason.
If I remember correctly, Semi wasn't toiling in cup footy for too long. He came from rugby.
Let us hope Zion puts his hip hop experience to good use and becomes our next Semi then.
Semi played 20's for a year or so. Debuted at 21 for us. He was younger than most, though he was also the most talented.
Compared to my age now, 25 is a kid LOL. Perhaps he is a later bloomer?
If we can get a game or two transferred to the stadium by the rivers of Babylon, this guy could be prophetic.
