Braith Anasta said on NRL360 that Zac Lomax may have played his last game for Parramatta, and is very close to signing a deal with R360 worth around $3m a season to jump ship.
Braith said he heard a rumour from someone close to R360 and it's serious.
Peter Vlandys also advised on the same show that anyone who has an NRL contract and signs with R360 will suffer consequences.

Let him go I say. He's been pretty average this year, even more average as a goal kicker. We have Simonsson who can fill the wing position. I'd also be fishing at the Panthers for either Alamoti or Thomas Jenkins. One of those two will be dropped.
Yes I think we could get better value from his dosh. Certainly hasn't looked as good as last year, injury didn't help of course.

He does a great job of bringing the ball out of the back field. Kicking and attacking ability seemed to have dropped off though. But if he really has his heart set on leaving....well, so be it. Need fully committed players.

I would not disagree with that, subject to, is he unhappy because of what we aren't paying or is he just happy to have someone interested at a very large sum.
i am sure that parra has an understanding with all its players as to needs and expectations, when their end of season reviews are completed.
My final guess is the disparity between what the NRL could pay i.e. any club and the contract expectations on this new comp could be a mile away.
Problem is he can't defend properly at centre. He's on 650k that's good for a winger. I'd like him to stay but if he wants to go then go. The sun will still shine tomorrow. If you upgrade his contract to 800k then that's way to much for a winger. Zac needs to make a decision asap and not let this drag on. The r360 will be a flop that's if it even gets off the ground. Problem is these Arabs have got to much money to spend why don't they buy the parramatta eels lol
