Im willing to give nearly all young players the benefit of the doubt as far as errors, brain farts, match fitness and defence goes, but outside of his missed tackles, which certainly isnt a problem isolated to him, i cant bring myself to say 'he is only young' with TDS, and be okay with what hes dishing up every week.
In my opinion, his service from Dummy half is horrific for two main reasons.
1 - His basic passing skills are worse than ive ever seen. He either manages to get a questionable, sketchy pass away if he does it quickly, thats rarely landed on the chest, or he takes an age to pass, like hes really trying to get it right, and he stifles the attack or gets caught at dummy half. Every game that low skill level makes me question if hes only recently started playing the game, like the ball is an odd shape to him or something.
2 - He has continued to repeatedly completely ignore his halfback and captain, and take the attack in a different direction. Im happy for any and all players to back themselves if they see something and go for it, but to me it seems like he has a bee in his bonnet and is intentionally ignoring Moses over and over again. Now this year more than ive ever seen, Moses hasnt always made the right play, but until the coach says otherwise, he is still the Captain and chief playmaker of the side and shouldnt have to put up with what im seeing from TDS.
Im not sure wether its an out of control ego problem or he just cant stand his captain, but either way, regardless of injuries, i think he needs some time in reserve grade to work on his skill set and pull his head in.

and yet he seems like our most likely player to break the line or score a try. But yes he needs to work on all the above for sure
Walker is the most lively to do both.
TDS was overhyped at the Tigers we paid too much for him...Without Moses the plan for him should habe been to lead the team around...
He doesn't lead the defensive line no pressure on the kicker.. Passing is not in the top 17 dummy halves..
I think just his speed is eye opening, that's probably because our team is as slow as snails but
I watched a little of the warriors game yesterday. How good is Wade Egan, the way he reads the game and his service is sublime. There was one ball in particular that he threw which was like a bullet dead on the money, no look, left to right just a nonchalant flick of the wrist hit his mark. I thought man he has got it all, complete control
He is good then the Wahs also have Healy come off the bench and play dummy half who is also on the rise! Both though are 29 and 23..
Work in progress.
Hes got a long way to go.
If your young enough your good enough apparently.Don't know how many first grade starts he has under his belt but the clubs invested in him so they have no choice they have to ride the development and inconsistency curve. One thing that would really help his cause is if his fowards won the ruck that would be nice.
Having a 6 who can operate the other side of field would help to. Very very young spine
I agree 💯
I don't get the love for TDS. I would say he is just an average hooker but that's an insult to average hookers.
As our season is gone, there is no point in rushing Smith back, who is far far far better than TDS.
I just hope Ryley is fully fit for next year as TDS just doesn't cut it.
I like Ryley to soak up 45-50 min and let TDS rip into tired defenders last 30 min. Need Ryley back in
There must be a reason TDS is picked over Smith. According to the 1EE experts, Smith is by far the better hooker, but According to Ryles, TDS is better, i know who's judgement I'm going to go by. Ryles has proven himself to be a good judge.
