Completely agree TDS has to be dropped, I could even see De belin at prop with walker at lock or even doorey starting. Samrani was great in trials so we should give him his hsot
Yep agree. Though clubs like Canberra and Brisbane do it and did well, i just do not like it. I don't mind doing what BA did in between 2020-2022, where he would have Mahoney play 80 each week but then around Round 8-10 he would bring in like Lussick or Rein or whoever the back-up Hooker was and play them for a 15-20mins so he didn't burn out.
For a few games stretch, i do not mind doing 2 Hookers, but not whole year. I am a big fan for the Jazz Tevaga type that can play Lock or on an edge but can also play Hooker in a pinch. Will Smith was that type of 14 in 2021 where he would either relieve Mahoney or play that Lock link man role.
Would Papali at 6 be any good? Samrani needs be in the side. Brown needs to be in the side. Definitely need some changes but wouldn't be surprised if there are no changes
I would have the same backline interchange Russell and Kelly in d and attack. I think ryley is injured no choice but to start da Silva. I would give hoppy and JDB another shot.
100% agree Jdb is a tackling machine. Probably the best tackle technique in the whole comp. I hope I am wrong but father time ⏲ has a way of slapping us all on the ass. He looked a bit slow at times. I will bring morretti in for hoppy. With Mr t starting. Jnr was terrible but he always starts the season off slow.
"The fans have been putting it out there for many years, yet nothing's happened. Even when there was a coaching clean-out.
He's like a bad smell - you can't get rid of him!"

We waste 2 interchanges on the Smith and Da Silva rotation, thats a waste if you ask me.

I am not sure if Kit Kat is an edge second rower. His lateral movement is rubbish.

Hey Darren, I think the De Belin critics are a bit over the top, he made 45 tackles and only missed 2, plenty worse out there than him.
I looked back through some of his stats from last year, he is simply a tackling machine, every team needs one of them.
I think I need to rewatch the game because I am with you. I didn't think JDB was that bad compare to some others
