There's a sign on the wall in the change rooms of my local squash club that reads:
"How good a player you are is determined not by how you win, but how you lose"
Today's lacklustre performance gave Brad Arthur, the players and us fans the chance to see who truly has character in the darker times. To try and make such a distinction in a winning performance would be wildy inaccurate and pointless. Days like today however confirm for me that -
Joseph Paulo - you have the heart the size of a pea
Surely this guy wouldn't be getting a game if not for injuries.
It was a dirty day all round and seemingly the South's game took it's toll on the guys who looked worn out, but on balance i reckon we didn't play too badly, defended well, and aside from Paulo, didn't give up and kept going.

he is fucking dreadful that bloke, when he dropped the ball he wasn't even looking at the ball, he threw some fucking stuiped passes again today that found no one but the floor
I don't know that I'd question his heart, just his ability.
He has had worse games but what really pissed me off was when he knocked the ball on.
not so much that he knocked on (aalthough I wasnt happy) but the way he just looked atthe ball afterwards, with a big duh look on his face, no urgency to pick The ball up, he just looked at norman as if to say you gunna get that? Like ffs thats the first thing I was taught in footy, if you make a mistake get on the ball, stop play and let your team regroup.
Yeah I thought the same thing. I go so far as to say he has this arrogant, I'm the man look on his face.
Every time he gets the ball my heart sinks for I can't help but think that something bad is going to happen, either he is going to drop the ball or throw a hospital pass.
The side had 10 days rest so no excuses regarding last weeks game. Losing to Jason Taylor like we did today will raise questions as to whether we picked the right coach. I like BA but he's under real pressure now and rightly so. No doubt he wont have the balls to mention the officials performance today.
