  I thought of A Quinlan too. He scored a try in last weeks win against the Dogs in NSW Cup--amazing! I put it down to all that heart that the Eels have. Pity it was not there all through the season.Did he play FB? He could be used for one or two NRL games provided his general form is OK. I suggested Semi as FB a couple of months ago. Was not received well by the well known "experts"!! It is a different time now, and I think Semi is producing at wing . So leave him there.

  Definately leave him where his been doing great and getting better week in week out. 1. Hoppa. 2.semi 3. Morgan 4. Taka or foloa 5. Farimo... Id much prefer to see Morgan and semi on the same side and foloa with farimo while taka is out as they both know each other and understand each other better.

    Hope you are just trying to wind us up Zak.

    Morgs and Semi would kill (as in DESTROY) the attack on that side.

    Taka and Semi have a dammed good combination going on that side and can only get better imo.

    Hoppa has proven he is no longer in consideration for FB - so Reece is the obvious choice unless we manage to jag an off contract FB - which I can't see happening.

    Folau needs more time in Wenty, and a rocket up him - seems pretty lost (or disinterested) at times.

    Tbh I really don't know who we could put at FB while Reece is out but certainly not Hoppa - he is doing a lot better at centre.

    How's French doing? Comments anyone?

  I don't hate the idea. I think Semi could play a Greg Inglis style of fullback game. Basically popping up where ever your attack is headed. I actually think he would be better suited there tjan centre. However you would need two things. Strong consistent halves because you lose the playmaking aspect of your fullback and secondly probably a full pre season working on positioning. I would definitely not hate this as a 2016 option. I would worry probably most about his communication which is important for a fullback.

  It's an interesting thought? A full back needs some flair and ability to bust the line and chime in during attacking plays. We don't have this calibre of player on our books at the moment. I say, give it a go. My only doubt would be Semi's positional play. FB is a specialist position so you need someone that can read offensive plays well. On second thoughts, maybe Semi isn't the right man for the job. What a conundrum!!

  Semi has been one of the quickest learners in the game imo, his game has got consistently better in the short amount of time he has been playing the game, which is only a handful of years, ive no doubt he'd give FB or Centre a real good go.

  And its the non attacking aspect of his game thats really moving forward which is the impressive thing, he hasnt hit the peak of his powers either and he is one thats game has improved under BA.

  I think he has the power, build, and front on defence to make a real go at centre, he could make a very handy FB in time, BUT he is so effective on the wing theres no way id be moving him (the best winger in the comp) any time soon and especially when hes still improving, if we move him from Wing we lose that sting in the tail out wide.

  Dont even consider it. His positional play is abysmal. His asset is his speed. And his defence is not a FG standard. Leave him on the wing and get a proper fullback, and I dont mean Hopoate as he is a winger as well.
