This season feels like I've just sat and watched the worst movie ever.
- The main actors (the team) are awful and just can't act (Play). In fact its hard to even comprehend they are in the field of work that they are. Whenever they perform an action or open their mouths and say something they are just not believable and awkward.
- The dialogue is ridiculous, I mean just watch any of our post press conferences, pre and post game interviews or the rubbish articles getting dished out by the press and the eels site...what a joke (but not a good one).
- The plot goes absolutely nowhere and is absolutely Anti-climatic. Like when it builds up and we look like signing big name players just for them to renege on the deal. Like when we have a chance to win a game and find a way to lose it instead. The fans get filled with hope only to be shot down. There’s plenty of drama, but almost all of it is so over dramatised that the viewer doesn’t care anymore.
- A bad director and producer (coach and Board) with no vision and let their set run rampant. They don't seem to know or care about how the actors perform; they lack an understanding of how the shots work in any sort of sequence or progression. They don't stay on top of their key personnel and they are unable to agree on anything.
- It failed at the box office. Despite all the promotion and hype its nothing but a flop. Yep, copping it from all the critics.
- Too lengthy. We have lives, we have other things to do and places to see, this mutha trucker has just dragged on way too damn long!!!
- Lack of originality. Why? Because we just watched pretty much the same damn movie the season before and this one was WORSE!!!!
Perhaps after venting all of the above though I am being to harsh and the best and most redeeming quality of the movie is still to come....The ending. Where the likes of Ben Roberts, Maitua, Keating and co run off into the sunset throwing forward passes.
Or maybe thats just more wishful thinking from a fan boy. All we can do is pray that the next movie in the series is a better one.

Two tickets please!
Stay tuned for the sequel.
I wonder if Gareth Hock will get a part?
I hope so, I heard he is really good at his "lines".
I had the misfortune of watching scary movie 5 the other day. It makes the Eels season look like a laugh riot.
there is a fifth one? Oh lord.
lol
And Fui is good with his 'Rolls'
I got through 30 mins, which was less than i got through the Eels on Sunday lol. I got through 80 mins of that horror flick.
