Yep, that's it I reckon. Oh well.
It 100% says he told us to get fucked. However if he had discussions that's even more alarming as he obviously had an open mind and didn't like what he saw and heard from our club. Imagine O'Neil ... it'd be like meeting with the guy that drives the local Mr Whippy van trying to nut out a multi million dollar deal.
He said he had unfinished business at Souths and preferred the fact he knew the establishment better.
It says he turned us down, I don't see a glimmer of hope in that.

Bennett is 75 years old .
He absolutely should have been a priority for us to seek out. But I can understand why he wants to work with people he knows in a place he's familiar with and with players he has ties too. I highly doubt it's a comparison of the clubs more just where he thinks he is in life and what he wants.
There are no other 7 time premiership winners on the maket but this board has a perfect opportunity to take some time and get this decision right . Find applicants who have a vision for what they want Parramatta to be over the next 3-5 years , how they plan on getting there and how they plan on bringing out the best of the key guys on our roster. What an exciting day for the club .
Im concerned it is all for naught if we end up with O'Neill and Rogers still calling the recruitment and retention shots.
How embarrassing for Brent Reid who said they will go through the front door if they are to talk to another coach.
