  I agree. Now and forever, the 'once mighty' Parramatta Eels will be labelled as habitual cheats - no better than the Storm or Bulldogs. Every time there's a salary cap infringement in the future, our name will be 'referred to' to make a point. We were once a proud, family club with a great reputation - now we're rudderless cheats with no short-term prospects for success. I live in Coffs Harbour and never really get a chance to attend games - but I still sign my entire family up each year to support the club. And what do they offer in return? I think that's already been well-documented in thousands of pages of NRL evidence.

    There is a considerable "grey area" surrounging TPAs. I hope Parramatta can prove that many, or at least some, of the TPAs that the NRL have deemed illegal are proven legal. My view is that the NRL's franchise contracts would be drawn so that we can't dispute their final decision.

    My view is that for the reputation of both the club and the 5individuals involved Parramatta should pursue legal action while ever there is a good chance of success. In terms of risk (money) vs reward I think it is worth it. From what I have read there are too many deficiencies in the NRLs preliminary findings.

    The 3 directors involved should never get on the board again.

  I reckon the seasons were worse when we were getting beaten by 50 every game . Least this year we can watch knowing we are a chance of winning . I reckon this season is actually the weirdest season ever .

  With all the dramas this season the +50 losses could be just around the corner. When all hope is gone I think the players will lose focus. I hope I am wrong and the boys play with pride in their jerseys and for us fans, but it will be hard to get up mentally every week.

  I watched our premierships in the 80's TBUR - my memory isn't as short as you might think. I'd rather lose by 50 than be labelled a cheat.

    Fair point Ang . However it hasn't really effected me too much as most of my mates are Canterbury fans, they've been rather quiet . Actually most fans haven't been too vocal with the whole cheats thing with me . Either they realise we are just too pathetic by winning two spoons or they're a bit worried that their club being busted is just around the corner .
    
    Scandal and negative press wise this is easily the worst season ever , however I feel as a fan I suffered more when we were a fumbling mess on the paddock .
